Another popular framework is the DISC profile, which categorizes individuals into four styles: Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S), and Conscientiousness (C).

Dominance (D) People with this style are direct, decisive, and prefer challenging situations.
Influence (I) An “I” individual is persuasive, collaborative, and optimistic. They aim to influence others effectively.
Steadiness (S) People falling into the “S” category are calm, patient, and prefer stability and consistency.

  3. Tailoring Communication: Adjust your communication based on their personality type and emotional needs. A good rule is to match the communication style of the person you are talking to. For example, if you’re dealing with a conscientiousness (C) stakeholder, who values structure and detail, ensure your project updates are thoroughly detailed and presented in an organized manner.
  4. Emotionally Intelligent Leadership: This involves recognizing your emotions and managing them effectively. It also includes being aware of others’ emotions and effectively managing relationships.
